Healthy Appam

This quick and super easy Rava Appam recipe is here to save the day. Rava Appam is basically a snack prepared with semolina (Soozi) and lots of veggies. It is basically a typical breakfast on the tables of South Indian homes. So let’s eat healthily and start the day!

It requires very little prep work and is a very quick recipe.


Gulab Jamun

Gulab Jamun is one of the most eaten Indian Sweets, this popular milk-based sweet is usually made with khoya/mawa, cottage cheese and flour. Today, let’s make a very easy, quick and instant recipe for Gulab Jamuns using Powdered Milk which is usually available in most of the Indian homes. You no longer need to wait for Diwali to come now 🙂 .


Jeera Biscuit(Cookies)

Jeera biscuits (cookies) are quite popular in local bakeries all over India. Both salty & sweet, these cumin cookies are melt-in-mouth and crumbly in texture. For those who are huge fans of bakery style butter biscuits, these are very similar but for the roasted cumin flavor. These salted jeera cookies are best served alongside hot cup of tea/coffee.


 Besan Ladoo

A delicious Indian sweet “Besan ke ladoo” is very yummy & popular. These sweets are made from roasted Besan (gram flour), sugar and garnished with cashews, pistachios and nuts. The crunchy texture and taste of these “Besan ke ladoos” is very addictive and you might end of eating more than one every time.  


Churma Ladoo

Convenient to serve and richer in flavour, here we present the famous Rajasthani churma in ladoo form! Traditional churma, sweetened with jaggery and enhanced with coconut and sesame seeds, is shaped into ladoos that are easy to store and serve. In order to get the best texture and flavour, use coarsely ground wheat flour, and when frying the balls of dough make sure you remove them from the oil when they are fully cooked from inside and golden brown in color.

Mishti (Pranhara)

Mishti  is very famous sweet from West Bengal which is made of fresh paneer or chenna and flavored with cardamom and saffron. The melt in mouth fudge tastes amazing when refrigerated for some time before serving. Kacha Gola is usually not as sweet as compared to other Indian sweets. The sweetness is mild and the main aroma and flavour is infused by cardamom and saffron.
